Great Barrier Island
A few slow days on Aotea after the wedding — no streetlights, no traffic, just bush, pristine beaches, and one of the world’s finest dark sky sanctuaries. It’s our home in New Zealand and we’d love to share it with you.
Our home is in Tryphena, at the southern end of the island. Below is a selection of houses, many a short walk or drive from us. Others are a quick run by boat (we have one), and Medlands is about fifteen minutes over the hill by car, with Awana and Okupu a little further out. Ferries and flights both leave from Auckland, and you’ll want a car once you land. Feel free to browse the houses below, but if you want to join us, please reach out to us before booking! We know many of the owners and already have some of them on hold for people who want to make the trip.
